Tom DeLattre was born in Yorktown, New York, and raised in Syracuse, New York. He joined the firm in 1994 and is currently a partner at Wieland & DeLattre, P.A. His practice is primarily dedicated to advocating for clients who have suffered injuries in trucking, motor vehicle, and motorcycle accidents. Additionally, he has extensive experience handling cases involving negligent road construction design, premises liability, defective products, and workplace injuries.
Mr. DeLattre is a distinguished member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, an exclusive group of trial lawyers who have secured settlements or verdicts of $1 million or more. He also holds an AV Preeminent® rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the highest peer-review rating awarded by this globally recognized attorney rating service.
He is admitted to practice law in Florida and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. He is also an active member of the Florida Bar Association, the Orange County Bar Association, the Florida Justice Association (formerly the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers), and the American Association of Justice (formerly the Association of Trial Lawyers of America).
Tom earned his law degree from Barry University School of Law in 2001. He completed his Bachelor of Science at Oneonta State University, where he also played NCAA Division III basketball.
