I originally posted a Yelp review about Mr. Turner’s handling of my wife’s creditor defense case (JP Morgan Chase Bank v. Jing Li, Seminole County). We found his work disorganized, poorly communicated, and damaging to her outcome. Instead of addressing the review, Mr. Turner sued us for defamation (Case No. 2025-CC-001509). I filed a counterclaim and moved to dismiss under Florida’s Anti-SLAPP law. The court denied his gag order (Apr 11, 2025) and dismissed his lawsuit with prejudice (May 1, 2025). Despite this, he’s appealing the injunction denial—not the dismissal—which I view as continued retaliation. My Google review also vanished, and although Google showed low ratings, they’re gone—his profile still shows 5 stars. I’ve filed a Bar complaint. I urge others to review public case filings before hiring.
