This attorney is horrible. I wasted $4000 on Melissa, ended up firing her and then had to spend $4000 on another attorney for my case. Melissa says she is going to do everything you want to here in the beginning to get your money and then doesn't follow through with anything she told you she was going to do. I told her I didn't want to do mediation and wanted to go before the judge instead. She gave false info saying I had to do mediation and then didn't even show up for it and sent someone else to pressure me into terms I was not happy with. She also made me look bad in front of the judge because she never turned in my financial affidavit. I told her I wanted child support and attorney fees paid and she didn't even request that, instead she slipped each party pays their own attorney fees into the mediation paperwork! She told me she couldn't use a domestic violence history record from 4 years ago which was also false. If you have a custody battle you will lose if you hire M. Newmons
