Mr. Ortega and his capable staff were very diligent in pursuing survivor benefits for my widowed father, and they were quite successful. Despite providing all proof necessary to establish my father's eligibility for my deceased mother's social security benefits, the SSA issued multiple requests for the same information, lost some of our submittals, and had prolonged inaction on our case. Ortega Disability Group did not give up and did not let us give up either. While showing all due respect to the agency, the Ortega legal team pressed our case and continually followed up until a final decision was rendered in our favor. My father was elated to receive a large lump sum of the benefits he had been denied for three years. The ongoing checks he will receive will go far to ease his economic burdens and will provide much needed security in his old age - fulfilling the essential purpose of social security benefits.
