Hired Attorney John Marshall Matousek

Working with John was great. Very responsive and actually cared. That made me very proud, comfortable and confident in having him as my attorney. I’m definitely determined to never need an attorney again but will certainly recommend him to anyone who does!

John was referred to me by people in the west-central Wisconsin area for my pending OWI case. He was recommended to me because of his criminal law knowledge, his determination and his ability to be a "very effective" defense lawyer. John promptly returned my phone calls, he made the appropriate and needed calls to the other offices involved. Additionally, he moved quickly to have evidence preserved that was critical to our case. John spent a good deal of time researching case law relevant to my situation. Ultimately doing a superior job of informing and guiding me through all of my options and potential problems. His candor and honesty was very much appreciated during a very stressful time. I highly recommend John Matousek as a criminal defense attorney and would very much agree with the referral stating that he is "very effective".

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*
