Ms. Manko grew up in the legal world. Her parents went through a very messy divorce, and Ms. Manko was the victim of a parental abduction to overseas countries, followed by custody disputes and guardianships that continued all the way until she graduated high school. Growing up in this manner, and witnessing many other families go through the same, Ms. Manko always wanted to give a voice to children who did not have one and to help those who could not help themselves.
Helping others is the core of who Ms. Manko is and what brings her the most fulfillment in life. She loves seeing families reconnect or rebuild broken bonds. She loves seeing how children who were struggling are now thriving. It gives this type of work meaning — like what she does matters and that she can really make a difference one case at a time.
