Prior to hiring Chris from Abound Law firm in Omaha, NE, Chris was eager to take my case ensuring me the highest return from my accident. I trusted his word, little to my attention he had another agenda in his mind. I did as he asked; I communicated with the firm, attempting to reach Chris. Each time - even though I knew he was at the firm - the receptionist (i.e., Dakota) unveiling tells me he is not avail or "just stepped out." I would not recommend anyone to ABOUND LAW FIRM IN OMAHA, NE simply put because of lack of comm.,
Working with Abboud Law has seriously been one of the most horrible, stressful experiences in my life. They are great when trying to get your business at the start, and then they treat you like you are not worth their time or effort. Communication is horrendous, almost non-existent. You don't get a response unless you have an almost threatening demeanor, and even then communication is sporadic. They don't remember important details about your case, though the information is shared in the initial report (like your car being totaled by the drunk driver), and want to play doctor (telling you to have an epidural steroid injection for back pain) when you tell them you are still experiencing injury symptoms. I was offered one settlement amount and there was no room for discussion and/or negotiation on their part; they did not want to do anything more for me. I hope I never have a need to work with a lawyer of any sort again in my lifetime as this experience has truly left me disheartened.
I was referred to them by someone who said they were great to work with. However my experience has been painful worse than the pain from the accident. They are not about getting me the best deal, lack communication and I have done some of the work. Watch out because you pay them their percentage plus expenses which other attorneys I spoke with would not be charging these as part of the 1/3 they claim. They also do not provide the details behind the numbers, no communication on offers. Watch out!
