I was in need for a permanent protection order against my dangerous and abusive husband who had a history of manipulating his way out of legal trouble. I chose to take responsibility for my actions on day one, and Tom completely understood that. However, he made sure I didn't just throw myself onto the mercy of the system. He was extremely detailed and diligent in researching my options and getting a deal on the table as quick as possible.
