She is the former Chair of the Connecticut Bar Association's Family Law Section. Ms. George has written numerous articles on family law and is author of Connecticut Family Law Citations. As Co-Chair of the Gender Bias Committee of the Academy, she wrote and directed an instructional video on gender bias in the law. She lectures frequently both nationally and within Connecticut. She is named in "Best Lawyers in America" as one of the nation's best matrimonial lawyers and she was named one of the top 100 Attorneys in the nation in the December 2005 issue of Worth Magazine. For ten years, Ms. George has organized a mediation program in the Stamford Superior Court at the request of the presiding family law judge. She has two children, and lives in Greenwich with her husband, Jeff Harris.
