Since 1947 the firm has provided experienced counseling to resolve our clients' legal needs.

Established in 1947, The Barksdale Law Firm has provided legal counsel to clients in the Okmulgee County area as well as northeastern Oklahoma. A large part of the practice focuses in the areas of probate, guardianship and estate planning. In addition, the firm has expertise in preparing title opinions, real estate contracts and acquisitions. Bill Barksdale, a lifelong resident of Okmulgee, provides expertise in serving clients with legal needs in the Okmulgee County area as well as surrounding counties. As legal counsel for the bank, the firm is very qualified to provide assistance in commercial litigation, debt collection and creditor bankruptcy issues. Since this region has a history of active oil and gas production, the firm has many years of providing assistance in that area as well.

Hired Law Firm

Heath Mueller is awesome! He's been our attorney for about a year and a half. He has well exceeded expectations throughout the course of our case. He is mindful of our money and has never ran up frivolous or unnecessary charges. He is thorough, and he gets things done in a timely manner. He was never misleading, and was nothing but honest and professional throughout. Attorney fees are notoriously costly, but the representation was well worth it and not a penny was wasted. Highly recommended!!!!

Hired Law Firm

Condones in corruption in the courtroom. Doesn't stand up for his clients. Doesn't speak up when there's perjury. Doesn't work with you works against you. Doesn't return calls when requested. Very poor communication.
