My divorce case began in Sep. 2022 with Attorney Tamer based on paid a flat fee of $2,500 for the entire divorce proceedings. Tamer initiated the divorce by sending a letter to ex. and I temporarily suspended the divorce proceedings and resume the divorce in Apr. 2024. At this point, Attorney Tamer demanded an additional flat fee of $5,000 which was double fee for the continued representation, even though my financial was difficult, I paid for the legal fees. The divorce was finalized on July 30, 2024, through the 1st Mediation which means it had 100% to win. During this time, I was accompanied by my 23-year-old college son. I asked Attorney Tamer about the next steps if ex failed to fulfill his obligations, to which Tamer assured me that he would take responsibility for ensuring. As I worried ex failed upheld his obligation, Tamer dismissed all of my concerns and neglected to send emails or correspondence to the opposing party, which only caused me further stress.
He NEVER returned calls, was always late for court and did not show up at all several times and I had to call him to come to court. He never told me court dates, I had to find out on my own. He told me I did not pay him enough to defend me. I paid EXACTLY the agreed amounts on the agreed dates. If it wasn't enough that was his fault not mine. He DID NOT DEFEND ME AT ALL. They took a blood test at the hospital but for some reason it "could not be found". So the jerk told me to plead no contest to
