He seems to be biased in interracial cases where by the mother is White and the father is Black and the father is seeking custody. In our particular case, he seems to be partial towards the mother while ignoring all the evidence attesting to her questionable behavior.
Steve Kerr was hired in 2011 to file a yearly court ordered guardianship accounting. Six years and thousands of dollars later, Kerr had not filed a single accounting. All Kerr delivered were promises, excuses, lies and frustration. Not even hiring a lawyer to go after Kerr and a complaint to the Okla. Bar Assoc. could encourage Kerr to produce one single accounting. He just produced more false allegations, excuses, lies and frustration.
Basically he was threatening his client on the court to let it get done quick, didn't even try to help with anything the client asked for. He could be unresponsive for long time. Then without even calculating child support long time after court hearing, he filed for withdraw as attorney. Then he gave his OTHER clients'original signed documents back to this client, showing how much who paid who...A very disorganized and disrespectful person, no working ethics.
Steven Kerr lawyer offices represent my parents estate. They also appear to be advising my sibling to her exclusive benefit. In my case this suggests a conflict of interest. Whether this is illegal it straddles the line of professional ethics. It would appear that Steven Kerr lawyer/offices does not intend to recuse himself from our situation. Going forward I may file a complaint against Steven Kerr with Oklahoma Bar Association.
Unresponsive for months after taking on the job. Arrogant, flippant, self-absorbed, and disrespectful. Late for appointments. Work product was absolutely worthless and contained many flagrant errors. Completely ignored content of conversations and extensive documentation provided to him. Had to forfeit a rather large retainer given to him and find another attorney.
