The firm was founded in 1925 by Norman Reynolds, Sr. and W. Otis Ridings. Since the firm began, it has specialized in the areas of bankruptcy, creditors' rights and commercial litigation. The bankruptcy practice consists primarily of representation of creditors in complex reorganization cases, creditors' committees and trustees. In the area of creditors' rights, the firm handles matters such as foreclosure on personal and real property, representation of banks and finance companies in loan transactions and litigation associated with troubled loans, and collection matters for creditors in diverse areas. Commercial litigation is primarily business related. Clients include large multi-state banks, several Fortune 500 companies and local banks and business entities.

All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*
