when first engaged with Mr. Klingenberg in a face to face meeting, that was over three hours long, I truly thought that I was in good hands. however, a lot of elaboration is needed to explain the results, I feel as though, I was and have not been told the truth. however, him, and his entire staff are, or seem too be wonderful people.
Didn't review all materials provided to them, left off important part of company valuation which was highlighted in financial statements and cover letter to them(debt carried on balance sheet). Took a long time to complete simple valuation of a business and then left out key component. Added significant costs to total legal bill(thousands) due to their ommission. Sloppy work, not very thorough, charged for a thorough study, but just provided boiler plate valuation of business.
12 thousand dollars total to “review documents” When Klingenberg was called to testify in my case he was in another case. He was billing both me and whomever he was testifying for. This is fraud. When I tried to reason with him about his fraudulent billing he sued me for over four thousand dollars. Absolutely unethical. Not to mention he fumbled around like he hadn’t even read the documents Despite billing me three times over for that very thing. This is legal malpractice.
I would find another firm. Not trustworthy. Not good preparation. Would not provide me with a copy of what they did for me. They will look you in the face and lie to you. Find another law firm.
I would not trust them.
