I had a need for some legal help and had no idea where to turn. A friend highly recommended Kania Law Office. Charles was very responsive and helpful. He introduced me to Doug Thomas who handled my legal matter. Doug had it resolved within a day or two. He was so professional, yet personable and kept me advised all the way through. Although the need was there for a bankruptcy, Mr. Kania and his staff were great. Even if I had what I thought was a stupid question, they were right on top of things. I would recommend them to anyone needing legal services. I am thinking of pursuing one right now and will call on Tuesday to see if they can help.

I wasn't sure if I was doing the right thing in filing bankruptcy and when I called him to discuss it,after he had already been paid, he just said well you've already paid and we went over it and im getting another call and I have to go. That's how the advice went. So before I go through with it and turn in my paperwork, i will consult with someone else to discuss my case. I cant wait to see how it goes if I decide to proceed.

Disappointed. Hired firm for pardon. Although we were granted the pardon we were decieved by firm in what that meant. Our goal was full pardon with all rights reinstated. Most communication had to be initiated by us & took few calls to get response. Once the pardon was granted we assumed rights would be restored as firn as told us. Long story short, after thousands of dollars the pardon will not give us back all rights. It was a waste of money & time. My husband had a violent crime 20+ years ago & since his release has had NO arrests, charges, or run ins w the law. He was 18 at the time of time of conviction. We only want to be involved in our family's tradition of hunting during holidays. Firm told us that w pardon we could obtain hunting license & purchase necessary tools however that in fact was a lie. Contacted attorney for explanation after warning letter from FBI & atty response was disbelief. Devastating outcome & waste of time. No regard for the false promises they made.
