Horrendous Attorney. I wasted 4 months of time working with her and $2000. Saw previous reviews saying that "Deborah never filed the case despite me paying her money" So this time I made deborah agree to only accept payment if she filed the case. She verbaly agreed to file the case and then could not deliver Despite promising me to file the case. At the end of the day still got charged. 0/10 would not recommend.
Ms. Fortune took a $5,000.00 retainer to represent me in my deceased husband's probate case. When the case was set for hearing and after dozens of unanswered calls to her, I checked the case on OSCN.net to see what was happening. Ms. Fortune never even made an entry of appearance. I had thousands of dollars worth of antiques and furniture, as well as a mercedes benz at stake. My sister-in-law got it all. Everything! Ms. Fortune had the gall to charge me almost $2,000.00 w/o a detailed bill.
