Steven M. Kaufman founded the firm Farr Kaufman in 1979 with his partner and good friend Stephen Farr. After decades of successful legal practice, the two respectfully parted ways and the firm of Mr. Kaufman and his partners is now known as Kaufman, Nichols & Kaufman. From the beginning, Mr. Kaufman and his partners have been known in Ogden and throughout Northern Utah for the quality of their work and the results they achieved for clients both in and out of court.

I've hired Ben twice now and I will do it again and again in a heartbeat! Unfortunately after my divorce I continued to have issues with my narcissistic ex. Ben could see how much pain and anguish he was causing me and our little boys! Ben is a family man and he will NOT put up with abuse. He and his fantastic assistants will have your back and they will give you honest and reliable service which is sometimes hard to find these days. They set proper expectations and then absolutely exceed them. Do yourself a favor and call Ben...like yesterday.

Before going to Mr. Nichols I went to two other lawyers that gave "free" consultations. Even though Mr. Nichols charged a minimal affordable fee for his initial consultation, I received more valuable truthful information from him than from the free consultations. His information was factual, unbiased, and I did not feel rushed during this consultation. He spent as much time as I needed for all my questions to be answered. If I needed to contact him on an urgent matter he was available at all

Hired Attorney Ron K. Nichols

Mr. Nichols was generally straight to the point, leaving little room for pertinent information to slip through the cracks. Most communication was done by phone. This may work for some people, however, between client meetings, court etc. I feel response times would have been much quicker if modern technology would have been utilized, resulting in overall improved efficiency.

Ben and his assistant were very helpful during my divorce. Went as smoothly as it could. Went back for support around custody and received good advice. Went back again, and didn't receive any response. Tried calling and emailing a few more times and got no response. Strange and disappointing to get no response! Had to go to another lawyer.

Worst experience I’ve ever had with an attorney they should not even be allowed to represent people in a court of law as their representation is highly inadequate bordering negligence. Don’t waste your time and definitely don’t give them a dime!!!
