Hired Attorney Christopher Dorrance

I wish there was a negative star to choose as even 1 star is less than this “attorney” deserves. What should have been a fairly simple and quick probate case has become over 2 years and we finally gave up a few months ago after numerous lies and excuses and hired a new attorney. Chris claimed one of the reasons it was taking so long was because what started as a simple probate case turned into a “full blown estate”. We know this is not true as there is nothing more than $3500 in cash and a car that brought in 9k. Had we not fired Chris, I have no doubt he would have drug this out another couple of years. In the beginning, he was also frequently getting details wrong and losing or forgetting things. He lost one of the checks he was given as payment and had to issue a new one. Once I figured out that I could track the case on casenet, I discovered that our case had been dismissed due to him missing a filing deadline. Dave time and money. DON’T hire Chris Dorrance!

All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.
