The inital consult seemed promising. I had high hopes but unfortunately Tania moved forward with a different strategy than what we agreed to without my consent, which I only found out when I had to inquire as to why I hadn’t heard from her in over a week and a half. I asked for a refund of my retainer. I was charged for the hours spent on the change of plans. The refund check came written to a different entity than the one Tania was retained by. I have sent two emails to communicate the discrepancies and have gotten no response, and I now have a check I can’t cash for the refund.
