Preville seems to determine which member of the dissolving marriage she wants to assist and then she does so. She doesn't overcharge. In the long run, even if she decides to dislike you, she's probably cheaper than superior court, but many other private judges would be, too.

Hired Attorney Eileen Preville

I used her as my judge to settle my divorce. She did get things settled but I don't believe I got my money's worth nor was she impartial. Because the opposing attorney worked with her before, the judge gave her more preference. I think I would have gotten a better ruling in the public courts. Preville misses her deadlines, wastes a lot of time lecturing, spends a lot of time marketing her services, which wastes a lot money since she's getting paid by the hour. Hired Attorney Eileen Preville

Used Preville as a private judge to bypass the public courts. It was a huge mistake. I was under the impression that judges were supposed to be impartial and fair. Not the case with her. She is very biased and has a problem determining what is fact and what is fiction. I filed a complaint with the judicial council against her as she violated my rights to due process by threatening my counsel against allowing depositions of key witnesses.
