Amanda J. List and her law partner founded LJK Law Group, LLP, in October 2010 after practicing family law since January 2004. Ms. List is a graduate of The University of California, Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law, and was admitted to the California Bar in 2002. She received the Prosser Prize in Estate Planning and Taxation in her 3rd year of law school, and was a member of the Berkeley Technology Law Journal, Boalt Business Law Society, and the Commencement Committee. Ms. List clerked for the adoption and assisted reproduction practices at the Law Offices of Diane Michelsen in 1999, and was the Executive Assistant to the San Francisco Consulate of Botswana from 1994-1995. Ms. List is currently on the Alameda County Bar Association Lawyer Referral Service Governing Committee. Ms. List received her B.A., magna cum laude in Broadcasting and Electronic Communication Arts from San Francisco State University in 1997. Ms. List was on the Dean's List, a member of the Golden Key National Honor Society, a member of the Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society, and recipient of the Achievement Award for Academic Excellence.
Ms. List grew up in Bloomington, Indiana. She has lived in California full-time since 1992. She has one child and two ferocious dogs.
