Hired Law Firm

Recently hired Stephen Allen for some help with a fraudulent contractor who stole money from me and assaulted me on my property. Stephen was more than confident he would be able to help us and get our money back. He did no such thing. I’m pretty Stephen was a bigger con artist than the actual con artist we were suing. Stephen spent no longer than 5 minutes on the phone with us and basically copied and pasted an email we sent him of a timeline of events that happened onto his letterhead and charged us a thousand dollars to send a letter. Actually let’s not even call it a letter because it wasn’t. It was an email on his letterhead. No paper. No stamp. No nothing. Everyone knows knows lawyers are expensive. Stephen is just a con artist. He couldn’t have done less for us.

Hired Law Firm

I hired Gelerman and Cabral to review my first commercial lease. I negotiated for every edit they offered and then signed the lease. Two years later, my business was still unable to use the leased premises for its stated purpose. 4 lawyers told me that my lease did not offer any protection or recourse and I needed to continue to pay rent for a space that I can't use. I asked Gelerman and Cabral if there was anything I could do - legally - to get out of this contract and they said no. And then to add insult to injury, they sent me a bill for the time it took them to review their past work and deem it worthless. Said differently: Gelerman and Cabral got paid to review a lease. Their work didn't protect the tenant. Then when asked if their work protected the tenant and they said no -- they charged the tenant for that work too.
