I met this attorney while I was going through a divorce as a pro se, because I couldn’t afford a lawyer. He offered to represent me as pro bono. Of course, I agreed. He invited me over to his house the next night to give me "free legal advice." He had casual sex with me while continuing being my lawyer. At the beginning, I thought he cared for me. He didn't. He did only limited work and what he himself considered good enough. He made me agree to what my ex-husband attorney suggested, even though I told him I didn't like it. It was too much bother for him and he didn't want to waste his time. Needles to say, it wasn't a long divorce process, exactly 3 weeks for him, as I did the most important negotiation before I met him. Yet, he didn't find me grateful enough for his free legal services, he told me I was a low class woman and he would never associate with me. I finally decided to file a complaint against him and he is being investigated. I hope he will learn his lesson.
