Fred Fierst and the members of his firm are absolutely spectacular in every way. They are always there with solid advice and will fight to find the fairest resolution to any situation. Besides being extremely professional, knowledgeable, and honest in their work … they care about their clients and always have their best interest in mind.
Fierst, Kane & Bloomberg LLP is by far one of the most competent law firms serving the interests of their clients. I have had the pleasure retaining the services of Fred Fierst and his team since the mid 1980's. Fred's leadership in navigating the most challenging and complex legal aspects confronting a business is second to none. Then, framing those challenges in simple to understand terms, that are meaningful and actionable as a client, is what I appreciate most. As an entrepreneur, the importance of getting out of the gate with sound legal advice is priceless. Thank you Fred and team!
I’ve been working with Fred Fierst for over 20 years. He and the attorneys in the practice have always been extremely professional, knowledgeable, and honest in their work. I am a recognized leader in the kids licensing and entertainment industry, and this practice has been essential to the work I’ve been able to do over the years. As a member of the Licensing Hall of Fame and Kidscreen Hall of Fame, Fred Fierst has been instrumental to my success.
I worked with the Fierst firm, specifically attorney David Bloomberg, on a real estate transaction. I was purchasing my first home and David could not have been kinder or more professional, as well as meticulously organized and responsive. A last minute "wrench in the plan" became much easier to deal with alongside David, who always maintained professionalism and had my best interests at mind. Highly recommend!
I have worked extensively with this firm for 25+ years and recommend them highly. They are world leading in Intellectual Property law areas from Film and Television to Video games and ancillary areas such as Publishing, Toys etc. We have used them for worldwide trademark and copyright enforcement as well as complex merger and acquisition deals, litigation and business negotiations. It's a great team.
I went to Fred when Amazon Studios offered to option the film rights for an article I had written. The entire process from option, with many contingencies, to an eventual buy was long and tortured, especially at the end when the options expired. and the issue became another option or walk away. At every step of that process, Fred was there, quick to respond, and to offer wise counsel. And we got the deal done!
My case involved coming to agreement with another party's lawyer whose initial strategy featured threats, boasts and intimidation. Fred skillfully defused the acrimony, incrementally bringing his adversary around, even going so far as to arrange an informal meeting to establish comity and calm the waters. Much of what the best lawyers do is speak wisely and compellingly to people on the other side who insist there's no room to settle, until suddenly they find that there is. Fred's impressive competence and quiet persistence was exactly right for accomplishing what needed doing. He was a pleasure to work with and I would happily do so again.
I've been a client of the firm for many years and always received great service on a variety of legal matters related to entertainment, media, intellectual property, and gaming. Like many businesses in these spaces, I've relied on lawyers at the firm for solid business advice related to transactions in these areas. Over the years, I have recommended Fred Fierst to several other potential clients (large and small) in countries around the world and I have been thanked by all those who have retained him. I continue to work with the firm on a variety of matters and could not be more pleased with the quality of the work and with the fine working relationship.
I have engaged Fierst Bloomberg Ohm LLP over the past fifteen years for both estate and licensing concerns. They are brilliant, professional and caring. Fred Fierst is insightful, strategic and honorable, as is the firm. I can't say enough about how excellent they are as a law firm. I trust them implicitly. They helped me win a major case in estate law and have always looked after my needs in licensing and contracts. My experience has shown me they are expert in licensing, entertainment and intellectual property. I recommend their practice to anyone.
I first hired Fred over 20 years ago - and I had to be interviewed by him before he would decide if he'd take me as a client! From then to now I have been grateful that I passed the test and he has represented me brilliantly - in matters of litigation, arbitration, negotiation and has always given me sound legal advice. He is scary smart, dedicated and completely professional. His firm is a full reflection of his values - professionalism, competence, compassion and a drive to excel. We have always come out winners when we've had to confront adversarial situations. I'm grateful and proud that he is my attorney and I am represented by his firm.
