He has wonderful employees who make you feel comfortable as well as he himself, wonderful office to deal with.
He is easy to talk to. He understands what the client is experiencing.
This guy knows his stuff! We went out of town to get his help. VERY HAPPY.
Our first visit was great and left us feeling like this attorney was the one for us. After we paid our fees; however, things took a turn for the worse. We were told our case would be finished around November (our's was a simple cut and dry case). It wasn't even filed until late October and then only because I kept calling and bugging them. Two visits were with the original attorneys brother (part of the practice) and he didn't pass on information to Mr. Copeland (original attorney)
Gave me one figure for a budget then changed the amount to an amount that I could not afford. He knew my circumstances but seemed to be for the debtors rather then me as a client.
This guy is a total thief !! Once he gets his money and files Your case His staff will treat You like dirt and you will never speak to him again unless You come up with more money!Bankruptcy is only for the lawyers and bankruptcy trusties, they could care less about You getting out of debt or loosing your home!!!!!! Be Ware!!!!!!!1
My husband and I were told We would have to pay around $200 a month to the bankruptcy court by Mr.Copelend.After retaining him his staff argued with both of us and the figure finally rose up to $600 a month for 5 years.After a year we could no longer keep up the payments and pay and the case was dismissed.His staff could never understand from the beginning that We did not have enough income to pay that much and they were consistently rude to us.They took advantage of us!
I paid $4800 to this firm only to constantly receive rude treatment from his staff.I constantly would ask to speak to Mr Copeland only to be asked why? I explained to him several times about his staffs rudeness but apparently he does not care. Now I have to start with a new attorney all over again and may lose my home because of this. I would never regiment this firm to not even my worst enemy.
