We had difficulty at times getting notice of hearings and notice when hearings were canceled before we went to the courthouse, missing work on one occasion to show up for the preset hearing. Mr. Stoops is an experienced attorney who cares.
Eldon worked on my MIL estate. He was terrible. Only had to file 2 pieces of paper. Well that took over a year and then all communication stopped. Wish I could give zero stars!! Never hire this man. His office is no help either. The poor lady that works for him has to hate her job!
Mr. stoops has been "working on my case" for years. The receptionists do not return information. No billing information is sent. I have had court dates cancelled without my knowledge. I have asked questions to which noone answers. I have had hearing dates "set on the wrong date" (he's an attorney and knows what he is doing, he knew exactly when or when not to set a date for a hearing) it took 2 months once for a letter to be sent. When asking for one letter to be edited the front desk told me I could do that with them and as I was taking them through the letter, they were not editing it at all and asked me to send a draft of what I wanted instead and they would sign it. I have been awaiting an explanation on why my last court date was cancelled without my approval and it's been 5 months. He changes what he says he is going to do and is great with wording so it doesn't sound bad. The secretaries often have an attitude when you call.
Does not return calls and his secretary told me he doesn’t have to. Eldon told me in court to contact him regarding visitation with kids, yet he lied and now advised his secretary to not transfer his calls.
