Jeanne was recommended by a mutual friend and unfortunately I learned that helping a friend of a friend by doing business with her is not always the best way to get representation. Jeanne charged me over $2,500 for two letters that were well crafted and very little legal references to support her argument. If you want a well crafted letter without case law or legal references hire Jeanne or hire an English Major and save yourself a $100's or even $1,000's. Find a good Attorney that has knowledge
Jeanne charged a fee of approx.$3,000.00 for 2 well written letters without substance. I might hire her to write letters if she dropped her fee but never as an Attorney. A recommendation from a good intentioned friend that went very wrong; we are still friends. I recommend hiring an Attorney that is well versed in case law that will prove effective in representing your case. I have no problem hiring someone that works from their home if they are knowledgeable and cost effective.
Keep looking. Fee was close to $3,000.00 for two well written letters (1.5 pages)without any reference to case law. She works from her home and states that she charges minimal rates because she does not have an expensive downtown, staffed, Boston office. I worked with fully staffed downtown Boston Attorneys and assure you they had more knowledge, made reference to case law and proved more efficient, effective and not nearly as much in legal fees. A poor recommendation from a regretful friend.
