In 2010, we discovered our home was built with a significant amount of defective Chinese Drywall. We had to move out of our home for nearly 8 months to essentially demolish the interior of our house to the studs, then rebuild. Since none of these expenses were covered by our homeowner’s policy, we engaged the law offices of Richard J. Serpe, PC to represent our interests in Virginia law suits and a national class action lawsuit. Given the country of origin of the defendant, we never thought we’d recover a dime. After nearly 10 yrs, this complicated case finally reached a successful conclusion.
