The firm was founded in 1998 by eight partners who decided to leave established Virginia law firms to create a firm where they could combine their extensive experience in defending private and public health care facilities, health care providers and product manufacturers in an environment that allowed them to be more client centric, innovative, creative and cost efficient-in other words, to-be different. Now with more than 25 attorneys, the firm has grown to a full-service firm representing individuals and corporations-from inventors to small businesses to multinational corporations in Virginia, throughout the country and abroad. The firm has an active trial and appellate practice, handling litigation matters in state and federal courts nationwide, including engaging in non-judicial dispute resolution, arbitration, mediation and administrative proceedings.
