I'm a person that never writes reviews EVER. SO in order to save yourself time and money, I would recommend not using Eric J Benner for anything. I can't speak for the other Attorney's but he's awful. He's a wolf in sheep's clothing. This guy was representing me in a family law case Hired him back in October. He talked a good game to get my money and did nothing more than continue every hearing that I had. I was just supposed to be in court 3-3-2021. He had is Paralegal Veronica call me the day before court asking for all these documents that Should've been requested months ago. Then the day of my hearing Eric cancelled my hearing again for the 6th time. He cancelled for his own personal reason then lied and told me a different reason. He's very unprofessional and waits until the last minute to do things then he makes it seems like he's not the issue. I almost feel as if he should be a prosecutor and not a lawyer. He drafted up this invoice which consisted of him charging me for emails

Do yourself a favor and stay away from this man… He comes off nice but he will milk u financially & you’ll finally realize when it’s too late, hey will have nothing for u and next thing u know, ur out 15K- 20K…mad for what? Trust me, He has no interest in closing your case. He’s only is interested in delaying ur case & filling his pockets. He will make elementary mistakes & when u call him on simple things discussed and agreed upon the day before, he’ll bill u thousands to fix them…. He knows what he’s doing. A DISGRACEFUL CROOK!!!.

Please Please people, do yourself a favor and run far from Eric Benner and don’t look back. Find someone else. Your mailman would be a better choice and I’m not trying to be funny!! if he was referred to you, run for the hills. He has no interest in resolving your divorce. He's only interested in filling his pockets. He will drag it out and take his time. Good Heavens, there really are people like this in Indiana. It’s Eric Benner. A painless simple divorce took 3 1/2 years & cost me 20K in the end. I fired him & worked with the attorney of the woman I was divorcing…it was that bad. At least her attorney got it done. NO JOKE FOLKS. I should write a book about this guy. Hell…sell it Hollywood…it would a good movie at least. SUCH a pathetic experience working with such a shameful man. This guy like I said...run for the hills. I've never met anyone in my life so unethical!! You’re welcome….I just put 10K+ (at a minimum) back your pocket!!!!!

Does nothing to advocate for the client. No effort. No follow through. Hired for divorce. He literally had no idea ne never followed through and we were still married.
