Mr. Warren has practiced law in the Niwot-Gunbarrel Community since 1975 after graduating from the University of Nebraska College of Law, with distinction. He earned a BA in political science at the University of Nebraska, with distinction, and also obtained a political science teaching certificate. He opened a law office in Niwot in June, 1975, which later became Warren, Carlson & Moore, LLP.
Mr. Warren is currently active in many community and civic organizations, including the Niwot Cultural Arts Association (president), the Niwot Local Improvement District Advisory Committee (past chair), the Niwot Business Association (past president), the Left Hand Valley Courier (Managing Editor), and Niwot Baseball, Inc. (secretary). Mr. Warren also served on the Boulder County Planning Commission for 7 years, and has served on the boards of Niwot Youth Sports, Inc., the Niwot Community Association and the Niwot United Methodist Church. He is a member of the Colorado and Boulder County Bar Associations, and received the first Public Service Award for Boulder County from the Colorado Bar Association in 1993, and the John Marshall Award in 2009. In addition, he donates time to Boulder County Legal Services and serves as an assistant baseball coach at Niwot High School.
