Hired Attorney

Horrible experience. Patty, she hates being called that, was rarely available. Always seemed to be on a golf vacation every time I called her office. Pushed papers around for 2 years and charged me 12 grand. I eventually fired her as I was making no headway with my case. The next lawyer I hired had everything wrapped up in months. Family Law is a horrible experience for a man and a father. It’s made worse by lawyers like Patty.

Hired Attorney

My experience with Patricia Lucas was one of the most unprofessional and negligent interactions I’ve ever had with a lawyer. She repeatedly ignored clear deadlines, withheld documents from her own client for weeks, and created unnecessary delays that nearly destroyed a time-sensitive mortgage approval. Her behaviour wasn’t just slow — it was obstructive. She offered shifting excuses, failed to communicate, and showed no regard for the serious financial and emotional consequences her inaction caused. The entire process suffered because of her lack of basic diligence and responsibility. A lawyer should advocate for their client, not sabotage progress or leave them uninformed and unprotected. Based on everything I witnessed, I believe Ms. Lucas is not acting in her clients’ best interests and should not be trusted with matters requiring competence, timeliness, or professional integrity. I strongly advise anyone to seek counsel elsewhere.

Hired Attorney

Patricia does not represent the interest of her clients, only her bank account. She is unprepared for court dates, can not remember the details of the client when in front of a judge, is constantly scrambling through paperwork, and delays proceedings due to her lengthy vacations ( 3 of around a month each in the last year) and overbooking clients. Wastes clients money to receive a settlement that will be less than half the legal fees. You've been warned!
