I MYSELF HAVE KNOWN BOB MULLINAX SINCE I WAS 13 TAKING LIFEGUARD AT NEWTON REC. CENTER. NOW I'M 67. BOB HAS HELPED MY FAIMLY IN MANY WAYS OVER THE YEARS. KEEPING US INLINE ON MY PARENTS ESTATE. NOT LONG AGO MULLINAX LAW FIRM WORK WITH MORE THAN 26 MEMBERS ON OUR GRANDMOTHER'S ESTATE. THIS WAS A 5 YEAR ON GOING THING. COULDN'T HAVE WENT ANY SMOOTHER. EACH TIME WE HAD PAPER WORK TO SIGN 26 PLUS FAMILY MEMBERS. I ASK COULD WE DO A POWER OF ATTORNEY 1 FOR EACH FAMILY THAT WAS 6 PEOPLE TO REPERSENT THEIR FAMILY. AT THE END OF THIS THE RATES WERE EXTREMELY FAIR. I WOULD RATE HIM AND HIS STAFF ON A SCALE FROM 1 POOR TO 10 BEST . #10 BEST PEOPLE YOU'LL EVER FIND. ALSO I TOOK A FRIEND TO BOB FOR HELP HIS CONSULTATION FEE WAS $300 LESS PER HOUR. THAN THE OTHER FIRM HE'D BEEN WORKING WITH . THE OTHER FIRM JUST WANTING TO GET THEIR HAND IN YOUR POCKET.
As a former law enforcement officer I was very familiar with Mr Mullinax. When I moved back to Newton after years in Florida I bought a house in Newton. I selected Mr Mullinax for handling that transaction. As expected he and his staff delivered a professional closing on our house.
This practice was recommended to me by my realtor for doing all legal and title work for buying a first home and they have been nothing but a disappointment. The lady dealing with my account is never in the office and doesn't respond to emails for phone calls. She didn't complete my closing paperwork until three weeks after the initial closing date due to "not having the time" and did not let anyone know until the day of closing that it wouldn't be completed. Now that everything has been approved by the bank, she is nowhere to be found. Again, she isn't responding to emails and isn't answering the phone while we try to setup an appointment to finish the closing paperwork. DO NOT USE THIS PRACTICE WHEN BUYING A HOME! Worst customer service ever.
