We built a great case, even had a doctor to testify that I suffer from acid reflux, gastritis, esophagitis, etc and the drink I drank (blue motorcycle)was coming up in my throat as bile. Anyway, at the last minute, the case just before mine was a DUI and this guy killed somebody and put the judge in a terrible mood and my lawyer said we better take what the prosecutor offered, so my case was never heard, cost me $7500.
This firm had over two months to prepare my case. Everything that was discussed between Mr Martin and Mr Tillotson to me led me to believe that I have a very good chance about 90% chance of beating or reducing these charges. When my husband an I asked specific questions about how this whole process works, with having an out of state license. Both attorneys said that FL is not part of the interstate compact. VA will not report a conviction to FL. Said plead guilty & you will still have a FL lic.
