Mitchell Reed Sussman is a real estate attorney and broker, practicing law in the state of California since 1977. He is a nationally recognized leader in timeshare exit, timeshare cancellation, and timeshare litigation, with a proven track record of successfully prosecuting actions against some of the world’s largest timeshare companies. His firm, Sussman & Associates, has secured the release of tens of thousands of clients from the obligations of unwanted timeshare ownership. A Brooklyn native, Mr. Sussman earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from George Washington University in 1973 and his Juris Doctor from Pepperdine University School of Law in 1976. Practicing since 1977, he has been listed in "Who’s Who in America" and has built an accomplished career in real estate, business, and entertainment law with offices in Beverly Hills, Newport Beach, and Palm Springs. In 2008 he along with his brother, Robert, pioneered the field of timeshare exit and release. Recognized as the "godfather" of this legal field, he retired in 2022 with his daughter, Juliet, taking over the practice which now consists of offices in Beverly Hills, Newport Beach, Las Vegas, Palm Springs and San Diego.He has been a lecturer on the subject of real estate, bankruptcy and timeshare law for the past forty (40) years Mr. Sussman and has served as a panelist for the Beverly Hills Bar Association's Benjamin Crocker symposium. Additionally, he co-founded a television production company Raven Productions, Inc., and has played a pivotal role in launching broadcast media initiatives in the Coachella Valley.
Now living in Las Vegas, he still consults on legal issues and enjoys playing golf and music in his spare time.
