Was referred to Michael Molfetta and consulted with him several times regarding various legal matters. I never formally signed a retainer agreement with his firm. Conversations continued over the months and he was friends with someone I knew. I found myself in a situation that caused me to leave Hawaii which was my home and I relocated to another country. He represents himself as a professional but rather a wolve in sheep/s clothing. In December 2025, he contacted me and desperately begged for several loans totaling $11,662.35 for a death in the family, office rent and other misc financial obligations. He offered to sign a promissory note but that did not happen and he then refused my calls. I began emailing him demand letters requesting my funds be returned and he refused, threatening me he was going to file a lis pendens on my home in Maui. He is a FRAUD-SCAMMER and I only wish that had done my due diligence and reviewed all his Yelp reviews. Timeshare Scammer!
