Tom Ferruzzo, the visionary founder, embarked on a unique trajectory, initially immersing himself in the realm of space engineering, contributing ten years to a remarkable 'startup career.' His journey included pivotal roles within the launch team at Florida's Kennedy Space Center, where he played a crucial part in launching the 3rd Stage of the Saturn V Rocket. This formidable foundation led him to ascend the ranks at McDonnell Douglas, all while he pursued legal studies. Eventually, he assumed the role of Associate Deputy Counsel for McDonnell Douglas Corporation. His transition to private practice was fueled by a profound aspiration to empower entrepreneurs and enterprises, steering them towards ethical, professional, and enduring growth strategies.
Jim Ferruzzo, the embodiment of service, commenced his professional voyage as a valiant member of the Armed Forces, and subsequently forged his path as a Deputy District Attorney in Los Angeles. Jim's tenure in the LA Deputy District Attorney's office was marked by his leadership in orchestrating the Grand Jury, overseeing cases of considerable political sensitivity, and prosecuting complex matters related to the Mexican Mafia's organized crime activities. His notable achievements include a meticulous yearlong investigation into fraudulent profit claims within the entertainment industry, encompassing iconic shows like "Charlie's Angels," "Starsky and Hutch," and "Love Boat." The endeavor, famously referred to as "Angel Gate," culminated in the execution of search warrants across multiple premises, including a six-story building, and a comprehensive forensic accounting analysis. Having successfully prosecuted over 200 cases during his prosecutorial tenure, Jim embarked on a new chapter in 1981 by joining forces with Tom in private practice, where his courtroom prowess continued to shine as he advocated for private clients.
