Mr. McKinney made a significant mistake in disbursement of estate monies in September, 2016. In February, 2017 he sent letter to some heirs "requesting" each to send him a check within 14 days for amount he said was "over payment, almost six months earlier. Need to question his knowledge of NC estate law.
Has been working on my mother's estate since 2022, still have not had the deed to her home filed. Called office and he said he thought it had been completed would need to locate the file. Paid Mr. McKinney in full and job is not complete. This has been going on almost 4 years!!! Waste of time and lots of money.
Gerald McKinney is a hack that will waste your time. Told me he wanted to take my case. So I agreed to have him represent me.Then 2 months later when I call to get an update he said he hadn’t even started and now he was too busy. What a waste of 2 months! Thank Gerald. I would not waste your time w this moron!
Paid Mr. Mckinney $1500.00 on September 1, 2021 to do some work for me. as of April 2022 the work has not been done and he has not refunded my money as requested. Does not respond to written request or to phone messages to date.
