A partner and founder of MSSG, Sherri has spent more than 15 years focusing exclusively on matrimonial and family law, including the equitable distribution of assets, custody, child and spousal support, as well as prenuptial and postnuptial agreements. Sherri represents a range of clients, from investment bankers, private equity investors, and hedge fund managers, to lawyers and business owners, to artists and actors. Sherri also represents the spouses of her professional clients, and works with unmarried and same-sex couples.

Sherri handles complex financial cases for her high net worth clients, delivering attentive and responsive client service at the highest level. She regularly works in collaboration with a family’s personal, business, or trusts and estates lawyer to ensure comprehensive solutions for her clients.
Although she can be a fierce fighter in the courtroom, Sherri strives for settlement. She firmly believes settlement is in her clients’ best interests—both financially and emotionally.
Sherri has been recognized in the legal industry for her acumen and accomplishments. She has been ranked by the internationally renowned Chambers and Partners as a notable practitioner representing high net worth matrimonial and family law clients, and earned acclaim from Metro Women Attorneys and New York Super Lawyers, which named her a Rising Star several times. She frequently lectures on topics involving matrimonial law, such as Equitable Distribution, Maintenance, and Prenuptial Agreements, including to the New York State Bar Association, Estate Planning Council of New York City, and several top-tier law firms and financial institutions.
Sherri earned her J.D. from the Columbia University School of Law in 2003. She received her B.A., summa cum laude, in 1998 from Yale University, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
She and her husband, Matthew, live in Manhattan with their two children.
