About Sharon Khunkhun, Esq.

Sharon Khunkhun was born in England to Indian immigrants who settled there in the late 1960s. In 1989, her family moved to Astoria, New York, in search of new opportunities. Early on, they endured the harsh consequences of negligent immigration representation, falling out of legal status and forced to navigate U.S. immigration laws alone. For seven years, Ravisharon witnessed firsthand the anxiety and uncertainty that arise when a single mistake can derail a family’s future. In 1996, fortune smiled upon her when she won the U.S. Green Card lottery as a U.K. national. Years later, after becoming a U.S. citizen, Ravisharon sponsored her parents for their Green Cards—fulfilling the greatest privilege of her life. Today, she draws on her personal experience to advocate passionately for clients, understanding deeply that competent counsel can transform lives.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*
