When I needed a lawyer for Child Support and Custody I contacted several people and no one dedicated as much time as Mr. Seth Schraier did to convince me to take them in as my lawyer. He took his time giving me the answers I was looking for and when it came time to go to court, he handled everything for me. If I had a question at any time, I was able to contact him and get the answer I needed. He is very reliable. I am a happy client.

3+ years later: Worse custody agreement than original. Skipped out on support agr. he was paid for. SUMMARY: Custody agr.: Visitation violation, etc. so needed new one. Support agr.: Lower support due to income. Violations by Ex. I was given bad advice to unilaterally lower support. FACTS: 1 - ABANDONED CASE Ignored 20+ emails to get support agr. Lied - it is coming “next week or Monday". Then he vanished! He had agr. or lied that he did. 2 - CONFLICT W/ OTHER LAWYER Had cases w/ her. Said "There was no conflict". Seems can be bad for client. 3 - DISHONEST FEES Bid low. So, he cut corners. 4 –UNPROFESSIONAL, SLOW Other lawyer sent him a note requesting promised work after he didn't respond! 5 – TERRIBLE CUSTODY AGR. THAT HE PRESSURED ME TO TAKE A WORSE agr. w/ less enforcement led to more violations. The OTHER lawyer drafted a bad agr. he negotiated from! Did not propose change unless told to! Did not fix child alienation issue. Said it is past, uncorrectable issue.

Avoid at all costs. Dishonest, Incompetent and Unprofessional. 1 - Abandoned a paid contract. 2 - Lied continuously when asked when settlement would be done. 3 - Bid low to get business - then abandons because he won't do work. 4 - Waited to last minute - often late. 5 - Unprepared. 6 - Opposing attorney had to remind him of work he had to do. 7 - Pressured me into a terrible custody agreement that OPPOSING LAWYER WROTE! He didn't oppose! 8 - Result is a custody agreement that costs to this day - over 10 years later and materially hurt my child and myself. Final Thought: Schraier's negligence, dishonesty, and failure to advocate properly have had lasting consequences. His repeated lies about pending work and disregard for ethical legal practices have led to years of unneccesary heartache. Check him out. Get 3 references. Check all data. Check clients that have negative reviews. Be careful!!!!!
