Jeffrey graduated from the University of Maryland in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. As an undergraduate, Jeffrey worked as a science and technology beat reporter for The Diamondback, a webmaster and section editor for Unwind Magazine, and an online media intern for ESPN 980.
Jeffrey graduated from Brooklyn Law School in 2013. Jeffrey was a notes and comment editor for the Journal of Law and Policy. Jeffrey also was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society and competed in the Robert F. Wagner National Labor and Employment Law Moot Court Competition. He gained familiarity with many practice areas while interning for the New York City Law Department, Bronx County District Attorney’s Office, New York City Business Integrity Commission, and the Law Office of Michael Kalmus. Jeffrey also worked for the Brooklyn Law Incubator and Policy Clinic, where he provided legal support to emerging companies.
After graduating from Brooklyn Law School, Jeffrey worked for three years as a prosecutor in the Bronx. He tried numerous cases to verdict as the first-chair and presented dozens of cases to the grand jury. After handling primarily assault, weapons, and vehicular cases, Jeffrey then worked in the Economic Crime Bureau where he gained investigative experience with financial crimes and identify theft. My time at the District Attorney’s Office has laid the foundation for my career in civil practice. I gained invaluable trial experience, and I learned how to maintain a large caseload while giving individualized care and attention to the particular issues and people involved with each case.”
Jeffrey is licensed to practice in the States of New York and New Jersey. At Gruvman, Giordano & Glaws, LLP, Jeffrey primarily works on defending general liability matters. He handles all aspects of litigation, including depositions, discovery matters, substantive motion practice, and trial work.
