    Memberships: Louisiana State Bar Association, Federal Bar Association and Maritime Law Association. Mr. Cozad is also a former member of the Board of Directors of the New Orleans Mariner's Club.

    Honors/Activities: Mr. Cozad has given numerous speeches and presentations to various industry groups on topics including maintenance and cure, punitive damages, vessel seizures, developments in the maritime law, contractual indemnity, marine and general liability insurance, OPA 90, NORM claims, welding rod litigation and other like topics. Mr. Cozad has also been recognized as a Louisiana “Super Lawyer” as well as a New Orleans “Top Lawyer” and has received an AV (highest possible) rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the only nationally recognized attorney rating agency. Mr. Cozad is also an Adjunct Professor of Law at Tulane Law School co-teaching a course in Marine Insurance II.
