Contrary during meetings with Ahern. Did not return phone calls. And I rarely called her. Made excuses for not doing any preparation for my case. Extremely overpriced compared to similar attorneys in New Orleans. Just a terrible costly experience. I later was told by another attorney that Ahern is a “drunk.” It’s ironic Ahern has such a good reputation. She has been president of boards relating to families etc. All those accolades despite the fact she is not married and has no children. It begs the question, how is she a supposed expert on family issues etc ? The scary thing is Ahern ran for judge several times and lost . Ahern gave the reason for her defeats as being her race. Thank the Lord New Orleans is full of prejudice African Americans. Otherwise we’d have Ahern as a judge. A client neglecting drunk. It makes me realize our actual judges may be no better than an incomplete attorney like Ahern or worse. Please be cautious.
