Reid and Riege, P.C. was founded in 1950 by John Reid and John H. Riege. The philosophy of the firm is to provide quality, imaginative legal services to privately held and publicly held businesses and financial institutions, and to individuals throughout the State of Connecticut. The firm is comprised of the following practice groups: Corporate and Securities; Commercial; Environmental; Litigation; Real Estate; Tax; Health Care; Employee Benefits and Pension; Estate Planning and Estate Settlement; Bankruptcy and Insolvency; Taft-Hartley (multiemployer) Pension and Benefits Law; and Employment Law.

The firm encourages its attorneys to participate actively in a wide variety of civic and professional organizations and activities. Hired Attorney Adam Carter Rose

You hope that when you are wronged and need an attorney that you find one who truly is an advocate. To also have one that also listens and believes in you and your plight is extremely rare. I would say he is a keen observer of human nature and methodical thinker. Adam Rose is a gifted attorney with strong character and gifts of empathy, good communication and tenacity. He is detail-driven and courageous. Finally he tells it like it is and helps weigh pros and cons of various approaches.

Fiduciary not. Allowed the attorney to decimate our Father’s legacy. Travers T Auburn was negligent and we (sibling and I) were children. Partners never interceded even when it was egregious. Very dark.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.

• Distinguished: An excellent rating for a lawyer with some experience. This rating indicates the attorney is widely respected by their peers for high professional achievement and ethical standards.
