About Michael S. Wrona

Michael Wrona is a special counsel in the Casualty Department, where he defends clients in matters involving premises and retail liability, automobile liability, property litigation, and housing authority law.

For nearly two decades, Michael has represented Housing Authorities in a broad range of matters, including tenant evictions, the formation of related 501(c)(3) entities, and compliance with federal and state housing regulations and HUD guidelines. His perspective is uniquely informed by his fifteen years of service on the Wethersfield Housing Authority, where he serves as Chairman, and as a board member of its nonprofit affiliate.

Michael routinely advises clients on development and partnership agreements, summary process matters, reasonable accommodation requests, FOIA compliance, procurement issues, and grievance hearings. He has presented on housing authority topics at the Conn-NAHRO Annual Convention.

In addition to his housing and casualty practice, Michael represents individuals and businesses in commercial disputes, foreclosure and bankruptcy proceedings, and construction litigation. He handles both debtor and creditor matters, including motions for relief from stay, asset sales, preference actions, and claim objections.

Michael earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Boston University and his Juris Doctor from Quinnipiac College School of Law. He has been recognized in the 2024 and 2025 editions of The Best Lawyers in America® for his work in Commercial Litigation and Litigation – Bankruptcy.
