We contacted Adam over a neighbor dispute. He was everything we could have hoped for in a lawyer, thorough, clear, fair, and personable. He was also skillful and won our case. We could not have made a better choice.

I gave A Kurland $900 retainer fee to evict a non-paying tenant from my house. A few days after Kurland posted the 14 day eviction notice the tenant voluntarily left. In order to justify keeping my whole $900, Kurland & his female office clerk, J H, verbally backed each other to 'claim' that I made 3 phone calls to the clerk, which is untrue, since the clerk had noticed me that I'd be charged at the rate of $450 hourly for any phone call I made to their office. They're also billing me an extra $95 for sending them an email (to avoid a phone call) telling them to end all action bc the tenant voluntarily left right after receiving eviction notice. Unfortunately thru searches & referrals I still had the misfortune to wind up w/ what I consider a real old fashioned shyster & his lying clerk, who orally backed each other in order to take me, in a vulnerable position, for a thousand dollars just to have a 14 day eviction notice served, (which is only the first step of an eviction.)
