Ernest C. Richardson III was hired to settle a deed dispute with my stepsister and he worked for both of us without our agreement. every phone call to us and to her and every call she made to him he charged us. The worst part, we released him as our attorney and every attorney that we tried to hire when they saw his name on the deed said to us" Call Ernie" I believe that he told everyone that we were still his clients. I realize that this is a racist town, but I'm America and this is a free county, we are not Ernie C. Richardson slave. No attorney in New Bern will touch our case. Sent him an attorney termination letter between client and attorney. Still every attorney sends me back to him. I paid him in full. and have released his service for me.
Mr Richardson was the attorney of record on an estate settlement for my father, Max E Armstrong. As a son, I was a beneficiary of the estate. He and his office are slow to respond, their legal forms are incomplete and inaccurate, and his legal communication tends toward personal remarks, which do not focus on the legal issues. I simply called to assist and provide information that the executor failed to act on. He has yet to provide the completed legal documents to me. MikeArmstrong
