Terrible website. Their intake form for a free initial consultation requires your social security number and that of your spouse, even though you haven’t determined if you want to work with them. Lawyer just pushes you to file for divorce as soon as possible, preying on your stress in the situation. Not once did they ask about couples counseling or whether you are even sure you want to proceed.
Did not show or was late to court. Did not fight for me.
After spending over seven months and $7000 I have yet to step into a courtroom. I was transferred between multiple attorneys and overcharged for services as well as charged for things. I never asked for nor needed as a member of the armed forces and fighting for custody of my children safety, this firm failed me and I would never suggest anyone utilize them as they’re more concerned with making money as opposed to helping clients.
Just got another bill with no explanation/description over 5 years after my case closed, so it seemed like a good time to write a review. When I was using Turner for my case, I was charged $50 for correcting typos on the contract they drafted, $250 for a phone call my ex made to the firm asking when the court date is, charged another $250 to tell me via email that she called them, and then they decided to generate documents on my ex’s behalf (another $250) and told me “well we couldn’t charge her so we added it to your account”. Even though she had a lawyer and didn’t even ask Turner Law to generate any documents? They charged another $250 to email me that they couldn’t charge her so they charged me instead, which is almost comical. Almost. They don’t explain any of these charges and are pretty vague in the bill intentionally because they want you to reach out and ask about the charges so they can then charge you $250 per email reply (not even joking
Mr. Robert Turner services were extremely lacking the profressionalism he professed at my first meeting. The Trustee in charge has stepped in to assist Mr. Turner in the proper steps in representing me in my Chapter 7. Mr. Turner failed in every way possible as a BK lawyer.
