About Perry Allan Craft

Since 1978, Perry A. Craft has dedicated his life to helping people in need. After graduating from the University of Tennessee College of Law, Mr. Craft served as Deputy State Attorney General, Assistant State Attorney General, and Senior Counsel for Tennessee. He has been in the private practice of law for nearly two decades. For more than a decade, Mr. Craft conducted yearly seminars to lawyers about recent United States Supreme Court decisions and developments, including cases involving immigration issues.

A diverse background in law

Mr. Craft has tried, settled, or resolved numerous civil and criminal cases in State and Federal Courts, representing individuals and businesses in matters ranging from immigration, automobile accidents or car wrecks, personal injury, consumer protection, false claims, identity theft, divorce, child custody, trucking accidents from big rigs or tractor trailers, construction, contracts, and anti-trust to securities fraud.

Mr. Craft has represented teachers and administrators before school boards, administrative judges, and the State Board of Education. He has represented individuals wrongly stopped by drug task force agents who confiscated thousands of dollars from innocent drivers. He has represented children and parents in IEP hearings, due process hearings, and in school matters generally. He has litigated complex state tax matters involving millions of dollars.

Attorney Craft has represented people charged with crimes, misdemeanors and felonies. He has tried cases to juries. His general practice includes drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney and legal documents relating to end of life decisions. He has negotiated the buying and selling of businesses and the counseled business regarding their structure, whether more traditional corporate entities, limited liability companies, professional limited liability companies, partnerships, and sole proprietorships.
